We are responsible for the decisions that we make, and we have to pay for the consequences ourselves. And for various reasons, some people have to end up in prison. For the sake of war, some individuals are captured and confined during war as prisoners of war. As for those who hold political or religious views that are not tolerated in the state in which they live, they have become prisoners of conscience.
For the cause of his Lord and Master, Paul was being imprisoned multiple times by the Roman authorities. As Paul was one of the key leaders of the spiritual warfare, we can see him as some kind of “Prisoner of War”. One thing we have to learn from him is that he is proud to be a prisoner for Christ Jesus. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
