Silver-haired (i365 Day 242) 2.0

Naturally, most of us concern about our appearance. As for this very reason, haircare industry has become a multi-billion dollar business. It depends what trade you are in, grey hair is not good for your image; because of that, many individuals dye their hair.

The Bible sees grey hair differently. Grey hair is usually associated with wisdom. Since experience and maturity are the by-products of aging, the Bible regards grey hair as a crown of splendour.

Let’s ponder the words of Proverbs.

Ponder

31Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained in the way of righteousness. (Proverbs 16:31 NIV)

Pose

Let’s pose a question to God. “Could You teach me how to view aging as a crown of splendour?”

Practice

Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray to learn to respect the elders.

Proclaim

Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Encourage an elderly person with Proverbs 16:31.
