Many countries around the world are facing aging populations. Not only aging comes with all sorts of physical and emotional challenges, but it also comes with a hefty price tag. As we all know, medical care is very expensive; therefore, the golden agers living in welfare states are very fortunate.
Aging is a natural biological process; whether we like it or not, we all have to deal with its challenges one day. Thankfully, God has promised to take care of us even to our old age. Let’s ponder the comforting words of Isaiah.
Ponder
4Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. (Isaiah 46:4 NIV)
Pose
Let’s pose a question to God. “Dear God, could You give me the faith to claim Your promise of taking care of me?”
Practice
Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the faith to trust that God will take care of you even to your old age.
Proclaim
Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share the new insight of this Bible verse with an elderly couple.
