My Family Doctor Has Retired (i365 Day 345)

Thankfully, my health is still in good shape, thus I don’t need to visit my family doctor too often. On one annual regular visit to the clinic, I found out my family doctor would officially retire. For a moment, I think I must be getting old, because the people that I know, one by one, have gone for retirement. The second thing is that I need to look for a new doctor that I trust. As most family doctors in my area don’t take in new patients anymore, this makes me a bit worried!
How’s your physical, emotional and spiritual health? Do you have a family doctor that you trust? Jesus Christ is the doctor that I trust with my life. Let’s ponder the healing ministry of the Messiah.
Ponder: 14When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him. 16When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. 17This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” (Matthew 8:14–17 NIV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear Jesus, can You help my non-believing family members to see You as the best Healer of their lives?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for your non-believing family members to experience Jesus as the Healer of their lives.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a non-believer of how you come to know Jesus as the Healer of your life.
