What is wisdom? A wise person is a person who has experience, knowledge, and good judgement. Naturally, our experiences can be accumulated and our knowledge can be pursued with determination and diligence, thus we can execute better judgment on life issues. As years go by, the maturity of a person would usually make one wiser. In other words, all people could be wiser.
When we connect with God, we can bring our wisdom to another level. I call this kind of wisdom – Wisdom 2.0. As the Redeemer of humankind is the source of wisdom, when we get to know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, we will attain heavenly wisdom from above, and we will continue to grow in wisdom daily. Let’s ponder Matthew 13:54.
Ponder: 54Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. (Matthew 13:54 NIV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear God, can I grow in wisdom daily?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can gain in wisdom every day.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a Christian your experience in gaining wisdom.
