Naturally, our circumstances would have positive or negative effects on us, and an Old Testament sage has also made a similar remark. He says, “ 30Bright eyes cheer the heart; good news strengthens the bones.” (Proverbs 15:30 HCSB) Most probably, the expression of bright eyes refers to the radiant face of a friend. In a nutshell, bright eyes and good news are external environmental factors. In conclusive terms, the sage wants to point out that one’s environment influences physical and mental health.
People pay a lot of attention to their physical health, but numerous individuals have neglected their mental aspect of their health. Mental health affects our physical wellbeing and vice versa. Let’s ponder Proverbs 15:30.
