Your Favourite Tourist Hotspot (i365 Day 326)

If tourists go to Macau, not many people would choose to visit a tiny unfamiliar cemetery like my family and I did. When we visited this former Portuguese colony, I insisted that we should go pay tribute to Rev. Robert Morrison and his family. When we told the taxi driver our destination, even he didn’t know where it was. For the sake of the Gospel, Morrison and his family became sojourners who laid to rest in a foreign land.
Because of the advancement of the Gospel, Paul and his ministry team had endured all kinds of discomfort and pain, and among one of these things was homelessness. As they were carrying the Gospel to distant lands, they didn’t have a permanent place to reside like most normal individuals. Let’s ponder his testimony.
Ponder: 11To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, 12and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; 13when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things. (1 Corinthians 4:11–13 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear God, can You give me the opportunity to thank one of the travelling missionaries?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the opportunity to show appreciation to the travelling missionaries.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your wish of expressing appreciation to the travelling missionaries with a believer.
