Anything That Can Go Wrong Will Go Wrong! (i365 Day 292)

Do you agree with the epigram of Murphy’s Law: “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong”? To a certain extent, it is quite true! Let me give you a few examples; equipment that can go wrong will eventually go wrong; machines that can break down will ultimately break down; although we wish that relationship will last, it might end abruptly. Relationship that can go wrong will go wrong; it’s very true!
In Micah’s times, people are facing unfamiliar situations. Common relationships were distorted that neighbours, friends, spouses, and children turned against each other. Owing to this reason, Micah only sets his eyes on God.
Let’s ponder the words of Micah.
Ponder: 5Put no trust in a neighbor; have no confidence in a friend; guard the doors of your mouth from her who lies in your arms; 6for the son treats the father with contempt, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house. 7But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. (Micah 7:5–7 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear God, could You give me the concentration to stay focused on You?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can focus on God.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your spiritual experience with another Christian.
