Which university should my son go to? Could I afford to pay for the tuition fees? Would my son have a good job and future? Would he marry the right girl? By the way, the person who raised these concerns, his son is only three years old now!
All of us worry and oftentimes too much! Walter Kelly humorously says, “When I don’t have anything to worry about, I begin to worry about that.” One thing is true is that anxiety or worry would destroy the quality of our lives. My recommendation is that let’s say goodbye to anxiety. The solution is simple: give God all your worries!
Let’s ponder the reminder of Peter.
Ponder: 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 NIV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “I am a worrywart. Dear God, could You teach me how to cast all my anxiety on You?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Whenever you encounter a problem that worries you, mention it to God.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your pursuit of a worry-free lifestyle with a new Christian.
