No one likes fault-finders. Some people like to point out others’ mistakes but never affirm the things that others have done right. Fault-finders are everywhere. You can find them at our homes, workplaces and communities. Don’t lose heart! They exist for our benefit, so that we can strive to be faultless.
No one can be faultless but it’s a goal that we should aim for, and that’s what Paul talks about. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
Ponder: 14Do everything without grumbling and arguing, 15so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. (Philippians 2:14–15 HCSB)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear Jesus, could You grant me the determination to strive to be faultless?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the determination to strive to be faultless.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your endeavour to be faultless with your pastor, and ask him or her to pray for you.
