They will somehow show up for our working meetings. No one welcomes them. Their only contribution is negative energy in the form of grumbling. We all know them very well, they are Mr. and Mrs. Grumble! When they show up before us, “It’s you two again!” we exclaim.
Humans are prone to grumble. In a flash, Mr. and Mrs. Compliment will turn into Mr. and Mrs. Grumble. That’s why the Bible keeps on reminding us not to grumble.
Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.
Ponder: 14Do everything without grumbling and arguing, 15so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God who are faultless in a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine like stars in the world. (Philippians 2:14–15 HCSB)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Dear Lord Jesus, could You teach me to grumble less?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can grumble less.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your experience with a friend.
