A picture tells a thousand words. I cannot agree more. After a causal glance of a picture of the crucifixion, with this simple inscription at the bottom: “All this for thee: how much for me?”, Count Zinzendorf’s life was changed.
There is a graphic description of Jesus Christ in Philippians 2. I pray that it can change your life. Let’s ponder the reminder of Paul.
Ponder: 6Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. (Philippians 2:6–8 NLT)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Lord Jesus, could I learn from Your earthly example?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can learn from the earthly example of Jesus Christ.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your new experience with a small group leader.
