Getting Better (i365 Day 201)

For the past several years, I have spent time reviewing my old sermons and resources. My conclusion is that there is much room for improvement. I am a person who is not satisfied with my old articles, sermons and dated gadgets. As for me, nothing is the best forever. Getting better is always my motto!
I am glad the teaching of Peter somewhat echoes with my perspective in life. Peter speaks of the improvement of one’s character in his letter. Let’s ponder his words.
Ponder: 5For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, 6and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, 7and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. (2 Peter 1:5–7 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Lord, could You help me to improve my character?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray for the determination and strength to improve your character.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a Christian the steps that you have taken to improve your character.
