After the Sunday worship, a believer went to thank his pastor. He said to him, “Great preaching! Pastor, thank you!” Likewise, he went to thank the worship team, saying, “Great songs and marvellous singing, thanks!” It’s good to express our gratitude to the speaker and all the volunteers of Sunday service, but don’t forget all worshippers are participators instead of spectators. Every single person at any worship should have great participation.
According to the description of worship in Exodus 4:31, it should be interactive. Let’s ponder this verse.
Ponder: 31And the people believed; and when they heard that the Lord had visited the people of Israel and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed their heads and worshiped. (Exodus 4:31 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Could you teach me how to worship interactively?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Before the coming Sunday worship, pray that the whole congregation will have a great participation, wherever they are.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your worship experience with a believer after the Sunday service.
