I Have You in My Heart (i365 Day 156)

A Christian complains to another believer: “Why does the pastor often mention his wife in his sermons, doesn’t he have someone else to talk about?” My response to this individual is that “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” (Luke 6:45 NIV) When someone is dear to you, it’s quite natural that you would often mention he or she in your talk.
As the Philippian believers are always in Paul’s heart, he not only thinks of them, but he remembers them in his prayers. Let’s ponder the words of Paul.
Ponder:7For it is right for me to think this about all of you, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel all of you became partners in God’s grace together with me. (Philippians 1:7 NET)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Could You teach me how to pray for the people who are dear to me?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. At the closing of the day, pray for those who are dear to your heart.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your prayer experience with another believer.
