Divine Connection (i365 Day 141)

In the midst of this terrible pandemic, unprecedented things are happening around the world. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I have never engaged in virtual worship before, but because of COVID-19, this is the novel experience that I don’t enjoy too much! Definitely, I do hope and pray that things will return to normal as before.
Whether we engage in online worship or congregational worship within the same building, the main objective is to connect with God as we worship, and that is the focus that we should bear in mind. Psalm 113 is a good reminder that we should worship God in all different circumstances. Let’s ponder Psalm 113:1–3.
Ponder: 1Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! 2Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! 3From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Psalm 113:1–3 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Can You teach me how to connect with You in all different circumstances?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Before worshipping God, pray that you can connect with Him in singing and praying and by responding to His Word.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Text a believer. Share with him or her your recent connection with God in worship.
