YNWA stands for You’ll Never Walk Alone. It’s the anthem of Liverpool Football Club. Ardent Liverpool fans follow their beloved team everywhere. Their physical presence is a way to show the football players that they are with their team all the time.
As Christians, we might sink to a spiritual low, one of the most asked questions is “Is God with me?” The psalmist of Psalm 139 testifies God is with him all the time. Remember God is ever-present when you are feeling alienated from Him.
Let’s ponder Psalm 139:1–3.
Ponder: 1O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. 3You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. (Psalm 139:1–3 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Are You with me?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Life has its ups and downs but remember, God is with you every step of the way. Walk by faith and don’t let your emotions dictate your life.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Tell a believer your recent experience of God’s involvement in your life.
