The Bible is full of sound advice. As a pastor, it’s my duty to present these truths to believers and nonbelievers. It is understandable that people would respond differently to the full counsel of the Bible. Some people chose to ignore it and go their own way. Certain folks hesitated. Some individuals responded to these truths positively. Let’s ponder a verse about two responses to counsel.
Ponder: 15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. (Proverbs 12:15 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Can You give a willing heart to accept Your wise counsel?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Before starting a new day or ending a day, look for the wise counsel in the Bible.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your experience of gaining wise counsel with a seeker of truth.
