After being a believer for many years, John finds it very hard to keep on following Jesus Christ in a culture that is hostile to Christianity. He often wonders if he can endure the race of faith until the end. He was grateful that his pastor preached on Philippians 1:6 last Sunday. Finally, he realised that when God has begun a work of salvation in a person, He would finish and perfect that work. Let’s ponder the Bible verse that John understood.
Ponder: 6For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NET)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “I know the race of faith is tough. Can You help me to endure it until I see Your face?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Before starting work in the morning, ask God to give you strength to finish the day.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share with a colleague your experience of how you overcame difficulties at work.
