The Great Pretender (i365 Day 82)

As I grow older and wiser, I have finally realised that many people aren’t truthful at all. They can lie to your face. Honestly, I think some compulsive liars can even beat lie detectors. Many individuals don’t show their real emotions and they don’t speak a word of truth, as they simply are great pretenders.
Satan is the greatest pretender. Genesis 3 reveals the tricks that the Devil used to cause the downfall of humankind. Let’s ponder Genesis 3.
Ponder: 1Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “How can I overcome the Devil’s temptation?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to protect you from temptation.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Tell others about your victory to overcome temptation.
