If you haven’t had the initial experience of praying with other believers together, you would find group prayer awkward. I could still remember the first time I had to lead a closing prayer at a small group gathering. Because I didn’t have the experience, I found it challenging. There’s a first time for everything, besides praying with other believers is a good thing that we should all try. Let me encourage you to pray with one another. As Christians are brothers and sisters in Christ, a group prayer is simply a family gathering, in which we connect with our Father in heaven by means of praying. Let’s ponder the teaching about group prayer.
Ponder: 20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:20 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Can You give me the courage to engage in group prayer?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Attend a church prayer meeting in the near future.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your new experience of group prayer with other Christians.
