If you pay attention, there are numerous lottery commercials on television. Commercial characters often encourage viewers to “dream big!” In many commercials that I recall, actors often portrayed as the exhilarating lottery winners. Though claiming the jackpot can be exciting and ecstatic, I don’t recommend you to go for any sort of gambling or lottery.
According to the psalmist, his wish is not gaining sudden wealth. He admits he’s a lost soul who desperately needs God’s deliverance (Psalm 119:169–176). Let’s ponder the words of the psalmist.
Ponder: 176I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant, for I do not forget your commandments. (Psalm 119:176 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Lord, can You deliver me from this horrible situation?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Ask God to deliver you from the horrible situation that you’re facing now.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your joy of deliverance with a non-believer.
