Post-truth politics is the current political culture. In layman’s terms, it is a political climate that ignores truths and facts. In the political arena nowadays, many people simply believe: eloquence speaks louder than facts. As to many politicians, they choose to appeal to people’s emotions and feelings, facts and truths aren’t important!
Let me ask you a question: do you still believe in absolute truth? Well, it doesn’t matter how we perceive it, absolute truths exist and matter to all of us!
Earthly truth matters to our daily wellbeing, but heavenly truth is relevant to our eternal destiny. As the Bible proclaims God’s unchanging truth, we must pay attention to every single detail. Let’s ponder the words of the psalmist (Psalm 119:137-144).
Ponder: 142Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is true. (Psalm 119:142 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Lord, how can I experience your word is true?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Pray that you can experience God’s Word is true today.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share the truth that you have experienced with a seeker of Christ.
