I Promise (i365 Day 54)

Thomas Fuller says, “A man apt to promise is apt to forget.” Human promises aren’t that reliable but God’s promises are completely trustworthy. Hudson Taylor, a veteran missionary, says, “There is a living God; he has spoken in the Bible. He means what he says and will do all he has promised.”
As the psalmist knows God is faithful, he understands His promises will surely come to pass (Psalm 119:41). Let’s ponder his words (Psalm 119:41-48).
Ponder: 41Let Your faithful love come to me, Lord, Your salvation, as You promised. (Psalm 119:41 HCSB)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “How can I learn to trust more in Your promises?”
Practice: God’s salvation means His deliverance. If you are facing any difficulty now, it’s a good time to claim His promise of deliverance. Let’s practice what you learnt.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. After experiencing God’s promise of deliverance, testify the truth to a seeker of Christ.
