Walk in God’s Word (i365 Day 49)

What do people desire? Happiness is the common answer. So, what is the secret to a happy life? The psalmist offers a simple solution: walk in the law of the LORD. By referring to other Bible versions, a happy individual is a person “who live according to the LORD’s instruction” (HCSB), or “who follow the instructions of the LORD” (NLT).
The entertainment industry usually associates happiness with power, prosperity and passion, but the Bible sees it completely different. The key to happiness, joyfulness and blessedness is directly related to Bible reading and applying God’s truths to one’s daily lives. Let’s ponder the words of the psalmist (Psalm 119:1-8).
Ponder: 1Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD! (Psalm 119:1 ESV)
Post: Let’s post a question to God. “Obeying Your Word is the key to happiness: is it that simple?”
Practice: Let’s practice what you learnt. Read a small portion of Scripture and underscore a truth that you would apply to your life.
Proclaim: Let’s proclaim to others about your experiential knowledge. Share your Bible application with a Christian.
