In North America, many people spend a lot of money on sleeping aids. For a better night of sleep, numerous individuals are willing to pay for blackout drapes, sleep masks, air purifiers, pillows and mattresses, and the list goes on and on.
Do you have a good sleep last night? Strangely, the poet of Psalm 3 could still fall sound asleep in the midst of troubles and enemies. If you had a sleepless night yesterday, read Psalm 3 before you go to bed.
Ponder: 5I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me. 6I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around. (Psalm 3:5–6 ESV)
Post: “Why is that I cannot sleep well?”
Practice: Meditate on God’s Word and ask God to grant you a good sleep.
Proclaim: If God granted you a good sleep, be bold to share with others.
