Academic Excellence (i365 Day 11)

If you were an employer, what kind of employees are you looking for? Would you look for a person who can think independently? How about the power to solve problems? Or would you rather prefer academic excellence? Definitely, there are many significant qualities that we should look for in employees. However, are you concerned about their moral excellence as well?
What kind of qualities will God look for in us? Moral excellence should be on top of the list, as it echoes with Peter’s teaching.
Let’s have a look.
Ponder: 15but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15–16 ESV)
Post: “Which aspect of conduct should I improve on?”
Practice: Being holy isn’t a jargon but a way of life. Make plans and exercise holiness in your daily life.
Proclaim: Share the highs and lows of your pursuit of holiness with your spouse or best friend in Christ.
